We and third-party providers acting on our behalf use a variety of online tools and technologies to collect information when you visit or use the Online Services, including Device Data and Mobile/Online Activity Data. For example, we use these tools to collect information for debugging, fraud prevention, session management, and other necessary purposes. We also permit certain third parties to collect information about your online activities over time (also known as "behavioral tracking") for our usage analysis. These online tools include:
Analytics. We and our third-party providers use online tracking technologies to engage in data analytics, auditing, measurement, research, reporting, debugging, and to measure the performance of our Online Services. For example, we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager with our Online Services for such purposes.
You can learn more about how Google collects and processes your data by visiting Google's Privacy & Terms disclosures. Primerica does not track its users over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track signals. The Google Analytics User ID feature on MyPrimerica permits us to automatically map the internal customer ID we have stored for our clients (if any) with our Google Analytics platform in order to more accurately match the same client's use of MyPrimerica across different devices.
Cookies. Cookies (browser or mobile cookies) are small files placed on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device. Server logs. Server logs automatically record information and details about your online interactions with us. For example, server logs may record information about your visit to our website on a particular time and day.
Session Replay. We also sometimes use session replay technology with Dynatrace Session Replay tool. This tool enables us to record user sessions on our website and replay your journey. Session Replay may include your view (browser or screen output) and user input (keyboard and mouse inputs, mobile gestures). Its main purpose is to identify problems in the application for user support purposes, particularly when you encounter an error or failure. It can also be used to help improve user experience and to identify obstacles in conversion processes on our Online Services. Session Replay is configured in such a way that it will mask data entered in certain fields (like name, credit card number, health condition) to prevent personal data from being stored.
